Most people have smartphones and occasionally there are OS updates to allow the phone to run more efficiently, allowing it to function better with the newer apps that are available, etc.
People have operating systems too; how you operate and function from day to day. Your operating system guides the use of your hardware, and if we have a better system that operates the hardware, we will maximize its capabilities. If you are better at certain mental aspects you will be more likely to reach your goals. If we are better at scheduling and setting up routines, we will be able to train more consistently and study regularly.
If we get rid of old beliefs and behaviours that don’t serve us, it will allow you to become the better version of yourself that you envision. If you are trying to be leaner and stronger you have to stop telling yourself you’re fat and weak. If you want to read more, you can’t be telling yourself that reading is not for you. If you want to learn to defend yourself, you have to get over the belief that you can’t hurt/kill someone if it ever came to that.
The worst thing that you can have is limiting beliefs - that shit keeps you trapped in the matrix. You have to get rid of those. Develop the mindset of success. Look to successful people who are doing what you want to do and emulate them. The physical follows the mental.
If you have the operating system of a person who is weak that makes excuses for the lack of success, guess what …. you’re going to be a fucking snowflake. To quote Chopper Reid, “Harden the fuck up”. Define what you want to do. Find examples of success, emulate those examples. Do the work.
Most people are here for training reasons. The truth is your training will go nowhere without the right mindset behind it. You can have the best program, but if the mind is not the results won’t come. The physical will not be there in the absence of the mental. To improve physically requires work, consistent work. It’s the same for the mental skills too; it takes consistent practice.
How you do one thing is how you do everything
Change is possible
It takes consistent effort
Don’t be a snowflake
Do the work
