TED is an organisation that brings together people from various fields and backgrounds. They cover almost all topics with the aim of sharing Ideas. Their tag line is “Ideas worth spreading”. So in the interest of spreading ideas, here are 5 of my favourite TED talks. They have benefitted me and shaped the way I think about things and how I see and operate in the world.
A great talk about education and its effects on creativity and development. It questions, is what we are currently doing correct? Here’s a link to an awesome cartoon by Zen Pencils about his TED talk.
This is a great one about how the body affects the mind, which is kind of central to what we talk about here on this website.
Why do we do what we do? This talk highlights why we do what we do and will make you really look at your reason for doing what you do. It might also make you want to get an IPhone.
This is a short talk (2min), but it makes you think about your perspective. Remember there is always more than one side to things.
I procrastinate…. A lot. This talk gives a great insight into the mind of a procrastinator and how we actually eventually get things done.
