It is that age old question. All of us in our toddler years and hopefully still now ask why? Why is the truest of questions, it gets straight to core of the matter. Simon Sinek in his TED talk, great leaders inspire action, highlighted the importance of starting with why. Watch the talk here. Spoiler alert: The key take away from the talk is that people are interested in the Why behind something not the what. Most people lead with their what.
What is our why?
After watching this talk again, I feel that we haven’t made our Why behind Enso Movement Culture clear. We speak about WHAT we are on the site but we didn’t really give you the why. Why do we exist?
We believe that training with intent, intensity improves the quality of our lives. We believe that moving more in our daily lives improves the quality. We believe in the capability, resiliency and adaptability of the human body. We believe in thinking differently and challenging the status quo of health, fitness and lifestyle.
This is why EMC exists. We exist to share these ideas, to share ways to do this, to share our and others experiences doing this. The goal is to create a community of people who share our beliefs. It doesn’t matter if you are an athlete, business person, student or whoever. If you share these beliefs you are part of the culture.
We plan to share tools and ideas and show people how to be more capable and how training can better their lives. Things to help you reach your goals, in life, sport, work and more. We want to be better and we want you to be better as well. How do you make the world a better place? By improving yourself and sharing. So we work to improve ourselves daily and we aim to share what benefits us with you.
This is just the beginning, we have lots of big things planned for the future. For those of you who have been following the site for a while thank you. For those who are new to the culture, welcome.
If you share our beliefs, or have gotten some value from our content. Please share it with your friends. Join the movement, spread the culture. Grow and help others grow.
Keep moving, keep learning.
PS. Share your thoughts, comments, questions on this post. We would love to hear from you.
