I believe that humans are capable of many great things. I believe that we have massive untapped potential, and that this potential is unlocked through training. Training of the body, mind and spirit; the human as a whole.
I believe in movement, movement forward. If we stop moving we stagnate and stagnation is death; movement is life. Movement of the body: playing, running, jumping, building things, using the physical to execute the idea. Movement of the mind: sharing ideas, innovation. Creating a shift in culture; this is all movement of thought and the mind. Movement is evolution.
We are experiencing a massive technological and cultural shift. It is not good in all aspects though. Some of the advances have made us more fragile. Awareness and questioning is the key to guiding it, as well as being aware of what is good for us and not losing sight of that.
We are built to move our bodies and use them to exist and thrive in this world. The problem with the current version of our existence is that we get by with minimal use of our bodies, which isn’t actually good for us. Using our bodies and exerting physical effort is tied to so many things that happen in our bodies. A strong capable body is the home to a healthy, resilient mind. One that can handle challenges, that is creative and can innovate. It gives rise to a good emotional state of being and it can be a catalyst for good eating habits, which then helps your training and your mind.
IT ALL STARTS WITH MOVING
So move! Do things; play, try different forms of training or activities, find something that you enjoy. Get goals in many areas, not just the physical. This is not about having a better body, it’s about having a better life, but it starts with your body. Think of your body like a car and life like a road trip. You don’t want to take on a road trip that has uphills, downhills and unknown obstacles along the way in a shitty half broken car that is falling apart. You want a vehicle that can handle the terrain, that is comfortable and that makes the journey enjoyable. In the end, isn’t that what we all want, to enjoy life?
You are 100% responsible for what happens to you. No excuses. It is all your fault. If you accept this you can create change. If you blame circumstances, people or situations you give your power away - you lose your control and your ability to be better.
Take charge of your life and get the change that you want/need. To do better you need to be better. Don’t be a snowflake. Destroy your weakness and create your success! Be better every day.
